Quick Green Smoothie

Good morning to all! I thought that I’d be pumping out recipes after I got home, but as you know life happens, and it obviously hasn’t been happening.  Since I got back home, I went from eating super healthy, vegan, and raw to somewhat healthy and not even vegetarian.  I think I just had a week to let loose, and now all I want to do is get back on track.  Eating all of that meat and all of the things that set my stomach off tasted good, but I was going to bed nauseated for the entire week! No fun.

Anyways, I finally got some ingredients for a green smoothie so that I can start the day off well.  Here is what I came up this morning!

Green Smoothie
3-4 handfuls of spinach
1 cup of water, more or less depending on the thickness you want
1 banana
1 handful of blueberries
1 Tbsp Chia seeds
1 tspn lemon juice
1 tspn maca powder
1 tspn cinnamon
1/2 tspn spirulina powder
1/2 tspn green minerals powder

Directions: add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until the mixture is smooth.

All of the powders at the end are just optional, so if you don’t have them don’t worry! They just add some good minerals and nutrients for you.  If you have any other super boosters, you could add those too if you wanted.  I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day.  Remember that you deserve the best!
