It felt like a morning like any other, but little did I know what awaited me in just a few minutes.
A ballin’ green smoothie.
Normally, I just throw what I find in the fridge into the blender to make a smoothie. This usually turns out a pretty good smoothie, but nothing to get too excited about. This morning was not this way. I tasted it and immediately danced around my house asking anyone in my family I could find if they wanted to taste what if made. And this time my dad tried it, loved it, and recreated it for his breakfast.
This is a great smoothie for the morning, it is sweet (though not overly so), refreshing, filling, and makes you feel like you just put some liquid gold into your stomach.
Thick Mango Peachy Green Smoothie
serves 1
Ingredients
2 leaves kale
1 peeled lemon
1 handful frozen peaches
1 handful frozen mango
2 tbsp hemp hearts
3-4 Brazil nuts
1/2 zucchini (optional, but gives it body!)
1/2 scoop pea protein
1/2 tsp cinnamon and turmeric (to taste!)
Sprinkle bee pollen (optional)
Crushed Black pepper
Handful ice
Method
Blemd all ingredients together until smooth. sit down, savor, and enjoy!
